– This theme requires a self-hosted WordPress.org website. This means you have purchased hosting + domain name and have installed WordPress onto your website. HM themes are not compatible with websites that were created on WordPress.com. Starting a website? Read my Getting Started Guide.

– Latest version of WordPress installed

– If you have installed the “Classic Editor” plugin, you will need to uninstall it to make the theme’s pages work and editable. All Hearten Made Kadence child themes use the WordPress Blocks/Gutenberg to build & design the pages.

  • Elementor and Beaver Builder: The theme itself is compatible for both Elementor and Beaver Builder, however, the pages were made using Gutenberg & Kadence blocks, so you cannot edit the page templates with Elementor or BB. If you want to use Elementor or BB, you’ll need to manually create your own pages from scratch.

Each theme also comes with its very own Block Collection, which allows you to insert sections or entire pages onto any page quickly. Sections and blocks on the pages can easily be duplicated, deleted, or rearranged.
